Russell Adams

Russell Adams has been a fixture in the New Mexico art community for decades.  His wall-mounted sculptures were among the works featured in Santa Fe’s legendary Janus Gallery.  He has described his work as a synthesis of the physical world as well as the abstract functions of the mind. His constructions begin almost as if they are random, found shapes and become integrated through a focused process of entry, erasure, and re-entry.
