BILL HECKEL
Bill Heckel, photographer and sculptor, began his career at a young age in Wisconsin as a black and white photographer. In the 90's while in Pittsburgh, his love of three dimensional form shifted his interest to bronze portraiture and figurative sculpture.
Moving to Santa Fe in the 90's, he found a nurturing environment for his fluid sensual sculptures and a country that inspired his striking photographic images of nudes in New Mexican landscapes. Many of his works are shot at Tent Rocks and White Sands in southern New Mexico.
