Roger Arvid Anderson has been casting bronze for over 34 years. His new works called "Trail Markers" refer to the historical “cairns”, or stones set up to chart a path through the wilderness. Anderson exhibited his earlier works in the show "Mythic Sculpture" at the Minnesota Museum of Art. A constant in his work is a feeling for texture and a passion for landscape.
Anderson works at the Berkley Foundry in California doing a lot of his own casting and his own patinas creating bronze that look like rocks.
